Cleaning our waterways
Did you know our ocean is filling up with plastic trash – choking fish, birds, turtles, and whales? What’s really gross, is it’s even entering our food chain in the form of microplastics. Yuck.
There’s a lot of plastic that is beneficial and serves a purpose, gotta love a car bumper or our handy bike helmet . We want to help clean up bad plastics that should not be harming our waterways and wildlife.
The water is our happy place and we want to help in making it cleaner for generations to come. That’s why with every hat purchased, at least one pound of plastic is removed from our waterways. We say at least because we donate per hat purchase, and we also make annual donations as well as clean up ourselves.
We donate/partner with a couple of organizations who share a similar vision in cleaning our waterways as well as participate in beach clean ups.
